From the beginning of September 2020, the processing time of customers’ purchase data in the S Group was extended to reflect general practice in the sector. Data is kept for its intended use for as long as needed, although for no longer than five years. The required period for storing data is assessed annually.
From the start of 2021, S Group will collect purchase data for services in the accommodation and food service sector at product level. Until now, data has only been collected at the level of the total price of purchases.

You can check your customer data at any time, and if you wish you can prohibit the use of purchase information that is more precise than the total amount of the receipt. You can do this either on the Oma S-kanava channel or at the S Group customer owner service and S-Bank points.
